Jeromy Scott Burdsal, age 36, husband of Dawn Burton Burdsal, died Thursday, December 29, 2011.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of Diana Tate Burdsal. Scott was employed with Boiler Tube of America and was a member of Revolution Church. He was an avid collector, sports enthusiast, and hard worker. His family was his whole life. Scott touched many lives and was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife and mother, Scott is survived by a son, Dyllan Burdsal; a step-son, Dallas Phillips; a step-daughter, Danielle Phillips Bonds and husband Dan; five cousins; a brother-in-law, Robert Burton; a sister-in-law, Dana Rochester; his mother-in-law, Colleen Fowler and her husband Bill; many nieces and nephews; and many friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Mary Ann (Polly) and Thomas Harlon Tate; and two aunts, Donna Tate and Linda Henson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Westville Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Chris Lewis with entombment in the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 1, 2011 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Westville Funeral Home.
The family will be at 109 Kingsbury Way, Greenville, SC 29617.
